Gear up for the upcoming elections! Florida has a closed primary elections, which means if you don’t register for a specific party, you won’t be able to vote on the primaries. Make sure you register under a party to maximize your impact!

⚠️ The State of Florida removes inactive voters every years. If you didn’t vote in the past 5 years, you might have been identified as “inactive voters” and removed from the voter system. Please double check you voter status before going out to vote. If you have been removed, please register as “new voter” again. ⚠️

To Vote Safely, Vote By Mail or Vote Early

To avoid in-person contact under this pandemic, you are recommend to vote-by-mail or vote during the early voting peroid.

Vote-by-mail

You can request vote-by-mail from the website of Supervision of Election from your county. Please be noticed that:

  • The book closing day for requesting vote-by-mail is 10 days prior to Election Day. For the general election in November 3rd, you have to request vote-by-mail by 5pm at October 24th.
  • You are recommend to update your voter file for any change of address and signature prior to submitting vote-by-mail request.
  • The vote-by-mail ballot need to be received by the Supervision of Election at 7pm on the Election Day (not post-mark date). You are recommend to mail back your vote-by-mail ballot 1-2 weeks before the Election Day in order to be received on-time.
  • To avoid mail delay, you can drop off your vote-by-mail ballot at secure drop boxes at Supervisor of Elections’ main and branch offices and early voting sites in your county.
  • To avoid unmatched signature on your vote-by-mail ballot, you are recommend to send in your ballot with the VBM Ballot Cure Affidavit and a copy of your driver license (front and back).
