ACRC Chinese New Year Celebration Concert
On January 26, 2020, Florida Asian Services attended the ACRC Chinese New Year Celebration Concert organized by Asian Community Resource Center. The meeting was held from 6:00 pm to 9:30 pm at Asian Community Resource Center at Miami Garden, FL.
FAS was invited to make a short speech on Census 2020 on stage during the dinner. FAS highlighted that Census 2020 is about the funding coming back from the Federal government to the community. It is extremely important to community center such as Asian Community Resource Center. FAS encouraged the members to write all the heritages on the form to ensure every ethnicity has a fair representation on Census. It would help to direct funding and resources back to serve the community.
